Defeating The Christion Nationalist (CN) Faustian Deal:

A New Conservative-Liberal Consensus?

The Deal

The Christion Nationalist (CN) Faustian Deal, its deal with the Satan, caused it to lose its soul.

Historically, a Faustian deal is an agreement to sell the devil your soul in return for something you desire, such as knowledge or fame. The agreement with Satan is always a projection of an individual’s or group’s anxieties and desires.

In CN’s case the helplessness engendered by its perceived loss of control during Covid restrictions, its steady loss of membership, and felt culture war losses, caused CN to seek political power.

CN adherents thought they were entering a contract with God: They would sell their souls to be God’s emissaries, acting in God’s stead to make our county a God-fearing Christian Nationalist county, along with all the prejudices, hatred, and rigid discipline that engendered. In return CN adherents would be saved from the torments of Hell.

What CNers don’t understand is the agreement they entered is not with God, but with Satan. It represents all that is bad about their religious beliefs and ignores the good in return for power over others. It is in direct defiance of what Christ advocated and did. That an agreement to sell your soul is just that: a selling of your soul.
