I have no issue with strength gained through introspection. But when a person tells me s/he married the wrong person, my first question is "why?" Why do you think that?

The answer will then determine my response.

My support is not unconditional. People who say they offer unconditional support without knowing the full story risk hypocrisy.

Everyone makes judgements as to right and wrong. Everyone. Decisions rely on judgements Morality depends on judgements . We are evaluated by the judgements we make. It is inescapable if we are to life in a society.

A very important judgement is to whom we turn when in pain. That usually is some person or entity we trust. If that a backyard group, swell. If it's a religious institution, so be it. But if the person or entity doesn't first as why , and if we're seeking reality based support, we then have an important judgement to make.
