I too at first thought this story was a joke...ala the New Yorker's Andy Horowitz. I am a recovering Catholic and am amazed at how much Christian leaders do to make their God seem petty, petulant, and weak. And they wonder why "No affiliation" is increasingly checked on religion surveys.
