These pastors usually resurface, announcing they have repented and have been forgiven. We know nothing about what Chandler did. Nothing. And this smells like a preemptive PR move with the thought he will some day resurface forgiven and saved.

As for us all being sinners, there is one big difference between us and Chandler: We don't have a pulpit from which to exercise authority of the behavior of others., and we don't claim a high level of sacred wisdom.

No, it is not the same when a pastor sins. It is an insult to his/her church and congregation.
